My friends and colleagues wore pink in my honor on my last chemotherapy day!

Ms. Chase,
I am weeping as I type this. Your story is beautiful. It is full of hope and strenth, with just enough humanity to touch that special place inside of me. Congratulations on completing your chemotherapy treament! I watched a very good friend of mine undergo rigorous chemotherapy and radiation. I saw what it did to her body, her mind and her spirit. So, congrats! It takes unbelievable strength.

I was directed to your site by a friend of mine, Ellen. She is following my progress as I prepare to participate in my second Breast Cancer 3-day 60 mile walk. She posted a link to your site on my fundraising page, and I am very glad that she did. I wish you continued success in your recovery, and I thank you for sharing your story. It truly is heartwarming.

Thanks, Sarah, for your comment. I am currently obsessed with Finland -- especially with the huge press it has received here in the USA on education -- being a teacher -- very valuable info! I find the mindset of the nation fascinating. Thank you very much for the inspiring words...please keep in touch! And yes -- funny you should mention the mom you work with -- because I too am up at 4:30am to run before teaching! :-)
